ACCOMMODATION PUB OF THE YEAR

We are delighted with our new eight guest rooms built within the grounds of the pub in their own secluded corner. Local Cambridge architect, Rosalind Bird and builders, Britaniabuild, have done us proud. All have been finished off sumptuously by interior designer, Annie Lambert, to her usual high standards and with no compromise on quality.

All rooms enjoy en suite bath/shower facilities, free internet, TV/radio/CD/DVD and direct dial phone. There is a choice of five (Super King) doubles/twins and three (King) doubles. There is also a room with an interconnecting door to the next room, for families and carers.

David Hancock, editor of Alastair Sawday's exclusive guides, has listed them since their launch in December 2008. The AA have also awarded us 4 AA Stars, as well as an AA Rosette for our food, over the same period. Such accolades are well-deserved recognition for all concerned.

Accommodation prices for bed & breakfast:

£90 single, £115 double, £135 twin

Exceptions:

Saturdays from 30th April - 29th October: two night minimum stay (single rate unavailable)

Saturdays outside these dates: (single rate still unavailable)
- Two nights Saturday and Sunday £105/£125 for double/twin per night
- Two nights Saturday and Friday £115/£135 for double/twin per night
- One night Saturday only £135/£155 for double/twin

Winter Weekend Breaks Offer (December-February):
- two nights including Saturday £70/£95/£115 for single/double/twin per night

Special Event Days: there are some special event days at slightly higher rates - we let you know if relevant to your enquiry.

There has been no compromise on quality for the rooms:

Individual thermostats in each room - set your own temperature (solar panels make significant contributions and cover all hot water requirements over Summer)
